Why we built our policy this way
Back in 2024, when Lena Vos started teaching her first course on game environment design, she noticed something. Students would sign up enthusiastically, access the first week of materials, then realize the time commitment didn't fit their current life situation. Some felt guilty. Others just disappeared.
That experience shaped how we think about refunds. We want people to try the courses without fear, but we also need to protect the resources we invest in each student from day one. When you enroll, our instructors start preparing feedback for your projects, our support team gets briefed on your learning path, and various technical systems activate.
So we landed on something that feels balanced. You get a real window to explore the material and decide if it matches what you need. After that window closes, you're committed, but you also have our full commitment in return.
Full Refund Window
You have 14 days from your enrollment date to request a complete refund, no questions asked.

What happens after 14 days
Once the initial period ends, refunds are no longer available as our instructors have invested time in your learning path.

Special circumstances
Life throws curveballs. In rare cases beyond the standard window, we evaluate situations individually.
- Serious medical emergencies affecting ability to learn
- Technical issues on our platform that prevented access
- Course content significantly different from description
- Major life events requiring course postponement
What doesn't qualify
To be completely transparent, certain situations fall outside our refund scope.
- Changed your mind after completing most of the course
- Didn't have time due to poor planning or schedule conflicts
- Found the material too challenging without attempting support
- Discovered similar content available elsewhere
How to request a refund
Send us an email
Contact info@virelona.world with your full name, enrollment email, and course name. A simple explanation helps us improve, but it's not required for refunds within the 14-day window.
We verify your enrollment date
Our team checks when you registered and confirms you're within the refund period. This usually takes less than 24 hours on business days. We'll respond with either approval or, if outside the window, alternative options.
Processing takes place
Once approved, refunds process within 5-7 business days. The money returns through your original payment method. Your course access remains active until the refund completes, in case you change your mind.
Confirmation arrives
You'll receive an email confirming the refund has been issued. Depending on your bank, it might take an additional 3-5 days to appear in your account. We're here if anything seems delayed.
